First Annual Conference 2008 - Registration

Conference Registration

Registration for the 2008 conference has reached full capacity. As a result, we are no longer accepting conference registration. SREE will be maintaining a waiting list in the event that we receive cancellations from individuals currently registered for the conference. If you would like to be placed on the conference registration waiting list, please send an e-mail to: conference@educationaleffectiveness.org with the subject heading “SREE Conference Registration WL”. Please include your full name, institutional affiliation, phone number and e-mail address so that we can contact you if space becomes available. Persons placed on the waiting list will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Conference Setting, Hotel Accommodation & Airport Transfer

All conference events will be held at The Hyatt Regency, Crystal City. The conference venue is located approximately one mile from Ronald Reagan National Airport. Individuals registered for the conference may reserve a room at the hotel for the discounted rate of $189 (plus taxes) per night, single or double occupancy.

The SREE Conference Committee is also providing the Hyatt Regency with a roster of conference registrants in order to ensure that registrants receive the conference room rate. If you have questions about the hotel billing procedure, please contact us at: conference@educationaleffectiveness.org

Please note that the reduced room rate takes effect on November 15th, 2007 and ends on February 15th, 2008 - these dates coincide with the conference registration. Registration for transfers between the airport and the hotel may be made via the complementary shuttle service offered by the hotel or via a short taxi ride.

Cancellation Policy  

A full refund of conference registration fees will be provided for cancellations made by February 1, 2008. We unfortunately will not be able to refund registration fees for cancellations received after February 1, 2008. The procedures for cancelling reservations will be described on the conference registration web-site (available on November 15, 2007).
