Conference Focus

The focus of SREE’s conference will be “Research on Educational Effectiveness: Significant Findings and Critical Gaps”. The invitational conference will bring together a community of investigators who have applied methods of scientific research to the study of some of the most pressing problems in education. Recognizing the importance of building research knowledge of educational problems, this invitational conference will host speakers whose expertise will address the following critical themes:

• Section 1 – Literacy for Diverse Student Learners
• Section 2 – Instructional Interventions for Mathematics and Science Education
• Section 3 – Teacher Quality and Quality Teaching
• Section 4 – Education, Mental Health, and Risk Reduction
• Section 5 – Low Performing Schools
• Section 6 – Methodological Strategies for Research on Educational Effectiveness
